Epson Stylus CX9400Fax All-in-One Printer

Follow the instructions below for your computer system:

Windows

1. Turn off the Epson Stylus CX9400Fax Series.



2. Disconnect the USB cable from the Epson Stylus CX9400Fax Series.



3. Click Start or , and select Programs or All Programs.



4. Select Epson or Epson Printers, then select Epson Printer Software Uninstall.


Note:
With Windows Vista, click Continue, then go to the next step.


5. In the next window, select Epson Stylus CX9400Fax Series and click OK. Then follow the on-screen instructions.



6. Open the Windows Control Panel, then click Uninstall a program under Programs (Windows Vista) or double-click Add or Remove Programs (other Windows versions).



7. Click EPSON Scan in the list of currently installed programs and click Uninstall/Change (Windows Vista) or Change/Remove (Windows XP or 2000).


Note:
With Windows Vista, click Continue, click Next, and continue with step 9.


8. When the confirmation window appears, click Yes.



9. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Epson Scan.


In some cases, a message may appear to prompt you to restart the computer. If so, make sure Yes, I want to restart my computer now is selected and click Finish.


10. Restart your computer.

Macintosh*

1. Insert the Epson Stylus CX9400Fax Series software CD-ROM in your CD-ROM or DVD drive.



2. Double-click the Epson CD-ROM icon on your desktop.



3. Open the Common folder, then open the EPSON Scan folder.



4. Double-click the EPSON Scan Installer icon.



5. When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.



6. Open the English folder, then open the OSX folder in the CD-ROM window.



7. Double click the Installer icon.



8. When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.



9. Open the Applications folder on your hard drive, select Utilities, choose Printer Setup Utility, select Stylus CX9400Fax, and click Delete.



10. Restart your Macintosh.

* The Epson Stylus CX9475Fax software works only with Windows XP, XP Professional x64 Edition, and Windows Vista 32- and 64-bit. It does not support Windows 2000 or Macintosh.
