What are the system requirements for using PictureMate with my computer?
A:
See the requirements below for your computer system:

Windows
  • A Microsoft Windows compatible PC with an 800 MHz processor or faster


  • Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, or Windows Vista


  • 256MB RAM for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (512MB recommended)


    • 512MB RAM for Windows Vista (1GB recommended)

  • 300MB free hard disk space (550MB recommended)


  • SVGA monitor with at least a 256 color display


  • 4× or faster CD-ROM drive for installing the software


  • A Windows-compliant USB port and shielded USB “AB” cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long.

Macintosh
  • An Apple Macintosh with a PowerPC or Intel processor


  • Macintosh OS X 10.2.8, 10.3.9 - 10.4.x


  • 256MB RAM (512MB recommended)


  • 300MB free hard disk space (550MB recommended)


  • SVGA monitor with at least a 256 color display


  • 4× or faster CD-ROM drive for installing the software


  • A USB port and a shielded USB “AB” cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long.
Caution: Using an improperly shielded USB cable may cause PictureMate to malfunction.
