No. This feature is designed to prevent a media mis-match error which can cause incorrect output. If you are using non-Epson media you can select the media type NO PAPER SELECTED to avoid a mis-match error. You will still be asked to confirm your paper selection before printing.

Follow these steps to select your media type:

1. Press Menu.



2. Press or to select PAPER SETUP, then press .



3. Select NO PAPER SELECTED, then press the button to save the setting.



4. Press the Pause button to exit the menu.

If you’re using Epson media, we recommend you select the media type on the printer to prevent wrong output caused by mis-matched media type settings.
