The print resolution is determined by other driver software settings. See Select Advanced Options in Windows or Macintosh for more information.

In Windows, the Quality Option and paper Type settings determine the print resolution.



In Mac OS X, the print resolution depends on the media type and print quality settings:

Note: To access the resolution settings in Mac OS X, select Print from the File menu. Then select Print Settings from the pull-down menu.

• If you’ve selected Automatic as the Mode setting, the resolution is determined by the Media Type setting and the position of the Quality/Speed slider.



• If you’ve selected Advanced as the Mode setting, the resolution is determined by the Media Type setting and the Print Quality setting.
