What are the system requirements for using the printer with my computer?
A:
See the requirements below for your computer system:

Windows
  • A Microsoft Windows compatible PC with Pentium 4-class 1 GHz processor (2 GHz or higher recommended)


  • Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, or Windows Vista


  • 1GB RAM (2GB or more recommended)


  • 1GB hard disk space (3GB or more recommended)


  • 30x or faster CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive


  • A Windows-compliant Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port recommended (USB 1.1 compatible) and shielded USB “AB” cable (Hi-Speed USB 2.0 recommended), 6.5 feet (2 meters) maximum length. Using an improperly shielded USB cable may cause the printer to malfunction.

Macintosh
  • An Apple Mac-class with a PowerPC G4 1.67 GHz or Intel Core Solo processor (G5, or Intel Core Duo, or Xeon processor or higher recommended)


  • Macintosh OS X 10.3.9 through 10.5


  • 1GB RAM (2GB or more recommended)


  • 1GB hard disk space (3GB or more recommended)


  • 30x or faster CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive


  • A shielded USB “AB” cable (Hi-Speed USB 2.0 recommended), 6.5 feet (2 meters) maximum length. Using an improperly shielded USB cable may cause the printer to malfunction.
