Q: |
Why does the image/picture have a blue cast or haze when I connect my video equipment (DVD player, satellite receiver, etc.), to the projector using a component video cable? |
A: |
The problem could be caused by the connection or configuration of your video equipment. Check the following: - Make sure your component video cable is properly connected. The connectors on the cable are color-coded. The red, green, and blue connectors should be attached to the red, green, and blue component video-out connectors on your equipment and the red, green, and blue component video-in connectors on the projector.
- Make sure the projector’s Input Signal setting is set correctly to match the output signal of your connected video equipment.
- Make sure the connected video equipment is set up to output video to component video.
- If the DVD or HD signal appears in green, adjust the input settings to YPbPr by selecting Menu>Settings>Input signal>Component>YPbPr.
