What is the Troubleshooting Guide?
The Troubleshooting Guide is an online utility that can help you troubleshoot technical issues that may arise with your Epson product. It acts like a technical support representative by asking you a series of questions in order to figure out a solution to your issue. The Troubleshooting Guide is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and can immediately provide a solution, so it may help you resolve your issue more quickly than you would by sending an email or making a telephone call for technical support.
How do I use the Troubleshooting Guide?
Each Troubleshooting Guide page will present a question and a list of answers to you. An example of a Troubleshooting Guide question is shown below.

If you need help with a particular question (such as a better understanding of the question's meaning or clarification of a procedure the question is asking you to perform), in many cases you will find additional information below the question that will assist you in determining an answer.
To answer the question, single-click on the radio button to the left of the appropriate answer (based on the particular issue you are troubleshooting).

After you answer a question, the Troubleshooting Guide will respond in one of the three following ways:
- If the Troubleshooting Guide needs to ask you another question in order to work towards a solution for your issue, it will present the next relevant question. Simply continue to answer the questions presented to you until the Troubleshooting Guide suggests a solution.
-
If the Troubleshooting Guide feels that it has found a solution for you, it will present you with a solution page. Solution pages will contain the following message:
Based on the information you provided, here is what you need now.
-
If the Troubleshooting Guide doesn't know the solution to your issue, it will present a page that lets you know a solution could not be found. This page will also contain an option to send an email to technical support for further troubleshooting.
