The Operate light will not turn on. What should I do?

• Ensure that the power cord is plugged into the scanner and to a properly grounded power outlet. Make sure that the power outlet is a working outlet. Since there are several different versions of this scanner designed for different voltages, make sure that the model you have is the correct voltage.
