Control Panel Functions
The control panel consists of buttons and indicator lights that report printer status
and control printer functions.The control panel functions are described below.

The layout of the buttons on the control panel for the EPSON
Stylus Photo 750 is slightly different than that of the EPSON Stylus COLOR 440 and EPSON
Stylus COLOR 660 pictured above. However, the buttons are labeled the same for all of the
printers. |
Buttons

Power |
Turns the printer on and off. |
| 
Load/Eject |
Loads or ejects paper if pressed and released
within 2 seconds, or moves the print head in order to replace an old ink cartridge if
pressed and released for 3 seconds. Resumes printing if pressed and released after a
paper out error. |

Cleaning |
Moves the print head to the ink cartridge
replacement position if pressed for 3 seconds while the black or color ink out light is
flashing or on. Returns the print head to its home position after ink cartridge
replacement.
Performs print head cleaning if pressed for 3 seconds when the black or color
ink out light is off. |

Lights

Power |
On when the printer is on. Flashes when
receiving data, printing, replacing an ink cartridge, charging ink, or cleaning the print
head. |

Paper out |
On when the printer is out of paper. Load paper
in the sheet feeder, then press the load/eject
button to resume printing. Flashes when paper is jammed. Remove all the paper from the
feeder, then reload it. If the light continues to flash, turn off the printer and gently
pull all the paper out of the printer. |

Black ink out |
Flashes when the black ink cartridge is nearly
empty. On when the black ink cartridge is empty. Replace the black ink cartridge
(S020187). |

Color ink out |
Flashes when the color ink cartridge is nearly
empty. On when the color ink cartridge is empty. Replace the color ink cartridge
(S020191 for EPSON Stylus COLOR 440/660; S020193 for EPSON Stylus Photo 750). |
