The second generation of Ultra Hi-Definition printers is here! Using microscopically small droplets of 6-color Claria Hi-Definition ink, this revolutionary line of printers offers an unmatched combination of detail and speed. Not to mention ground-breaking technologies like Automatic Photo Correction that automatically adjusts contrast, corrects skin tones, scenery and exposure for perfect photos.
The Epson R280, RX595 and RX680 offer superior photo capabilities, with user-friendly features that enable anyone to print without compromise right at home. And, Epson photo printers also print documents, e-mails and more, so you can take care of all your everyday print needs at the same time.

Why be satisfied with an ordinary printer when you can get Ultra Hi-Definition results with Epson? Ultra Hi-Definition printers produce photos with richness, depth and clarity that satisfies even the toughest customers — professional photographers.
Ultra Hi-Definition prints come from many advanced features found inside Epson printers.

The Ultra Hi-Definition printers have incredible print speed, blazing through photos and text documents. Not only do these models have super-fast draft photo print speeds that compare favorably with competitive print speeds, they also maintain fast speeds when using the printer's default settings to produce better-than-lab-quality prints — the mode most customers will use to print photos. On some competitive models, speeds are highly dependent on the specific paper used. The Epson Ultra Hi-Definition printers also have fast text speeds making them suitable for printing not only photos, but also everyday documents:

The Auto Photo Correction with advanced face detection automatically corrects poorly exposed photos, so that you can get perfect photos every time. It corrects for landscape, people, night scene and other categories, so you can produce brilliant photos - right at home. You can even preview your corrected photo right on your LCD before you print (RX680 only).

For those times when you take photos and something went wrong - perhaps the flash wasn't strong enough or the color was off. Even if it doesn't look good enough to print, give it a shot. Automatic photo correction will try to make it better.

It's automatic, so there's no need to learn complicated software or consult a photo expert. And with the Epson RX595, and RX680, Auto Photo Correction is also available PC-free. Just press Print!

Do you have a box or album of old faded photos? Restore the color back to their original brilliance with or without a PC. Easy Photo Fix™ technology, exclusively from Epson, makes it easy to revive your favorite photos and share beautiful reprints. Just place that old family photo on the scanner bed and let the RX595 or RX680 do the rest. There's no costly software to purchase and no photo editing programs to learn. And, you don't even need a computer to do it!

When you're in the market for a photo printer, it's always helpful to get a recommendation from a friend or an expert. With a goal of satisfying the most demanding professional photographer, Epson has a legacy of delivering photo imaging technology, paper and ink formulations that turn digital and film photography into works of art on paper. It's no wonder that many of today's photographic masters - Greg Gorman, Jay Maisel and more - trust their reputations to Epson. No other printer company has gained such a following in the industry. And that's why no other printer company can make such a bold statement that Epson can make - it's the overwhelming brand of choice among professional photographers.
Epson photo printers and all-in-ones - the only way to get Ultra Hi-Definition prints.
1 Pages/copies per minute (ppm/cpm) speed measured after first page, based on black and color text patterns in Drat Mode on plain paper. Color photo in Draft Mode on Premium Photo Paper Glossy measured from start of paper feed. Additional print time will vary based on system configuration, software application and page complexity. See www.epson.com/printspeed for more information about speeds or individual product page for model-specific print speeds.
2 Print permanence ratings are based on accelerated testing of prints on specialty media, displayed indoors under glass or UV filter or stored in archival sleeves in album storage. Actual print stability will vary according to media, printed image, display conditions, light intensity, humidity, and atmospheric conditions. Epson does not guarantee longevity of prints. For maximum print life, display all prints under glass or UV filter or properly store them. See www.wilhelm-research.com for details.
3 Auto photo correction may not be able to correct all photos, and is available on Windows and Mac OS X 10.5 or later. See www.epson.com/support to download the latest Mac OS X 10.5 drivers.
4 We recommend that you use genuine Epson cartridges. The use of other products may affect your print quality and could result in printer/all-in-one damage. Yields vary considerably based on images printed, print settings, paper type, frequency of use and temperature. For print quality, a small amount of ink remains in the cartridge after the "replace cartridge" indicator comes on. See www.epson.com/cartridgeinfo for more information about cartridge performance and remaining ink.
